Greenhouse Stores were introduced to InverOak as they were looking for an e-commerce web and telephone payments solution to handle payments for their flourishing on-line business.

Greenhouse Stores required a reliable payments solution and needed it to handle payments from most payment cards and credit cards. In addition the company needed the merchant to provide full PCI/DSS compliance, along with handling chargebacks. Beyond the existing Data Privacy Acts in force, the customer also needed to be sure that the additional regulatory compliance introduced through GDPR was in place, where InverOak acts as the Data Processor in handling the transaction.

InverOak were able to offer Greenhouse Stores a merchant capability to handle all the payment cards they were likely to be presented with, delivering a global payment solution. InverOak provides an XML feed of the payment form, which appears in the web site as an iFrame, styled to fit the creative style of the page, but which is hosted by InverOak so as to deliver PCI/DSS compliance. InverOak also provided a telephone route for taking payments, using a CRM portal, with a web interface for their staff to take telephone orders, entering the customer’s details into a pop up screen, to then promptly process the card transaction.

The customer also has access to a secure web payment portal, where they can see customers’ cards processed in real time, which is available to the customer’s call handling team to respond to any questions on payments. Recognising that cash flow is key to any business, InverOak then provides a prompt payment of card revenues received out to the bank account of Greenhouse stores, under advice.

This payment solution has now been running smoothly for nearly six years, coping with seasonal peaks in orders and payments throughout the year. In this time, Greenhouse Stores has processed several millions of pounds of orders and has become one of the leading web retailers in the UK, with an extensive range of products for customers to choose from.

Royal Hospital Chelsea

We were looking to implement solution to as to how to maximise fundraising income from audiences at our ‘Live at Chelsea’ concert series. Traditionally income would be generated through bucket collections but this year that was no longer an option so we need to find a solution quickly.
